Address points were obtained through various sources and some were geocoded using Nominatim which are delineated below:Kampgrounds of America (KOA) Campground addresses in Texas. Geocoded using Nominatim. Obtained on 10/15/2025 from https://koa.com/states-provinces/texas/National Parks Service (NPS) Campgrounds in Texas. Obtained on 10/7/2025 from https://www.nps.gov/subjects/developer/api-documentation.htm#/campgrounds/getCampgroundsRecreation Information Database (RIDB) information was clipped to Texas boundary and only includes TypeOfUse = "Overnight". Obtained on 10/16/2025 from https://ridb.recreation.gov/downloadTexas Association of Campground Owners (TACO) Campground addresses in Texas. Geocoded using Nominatim. Obtained on 9/18/2025 from https://texascampgrounds.com/find-a-park/?sort=default-listing-order&region=central-texas,north-texas,gulf-coast,east-texas,south-texas,west-texasTexas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) Texas State Parks campground locations. Obtained on 10/7/2025 from https://gis-tpwd.opendata.arcgis.com/maps/3d25602d20844752a23f233207d19718/aboutNational Geospatial Data Asset (NGDA) data from the U.S. Geological Survey. Obtained on 10/7/2025 from https://gisnation-sdi.hub.arcgis.com/datasets/fedmaps::campgrounds/aboutYouth Camp names and addresses were provided from Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and Texas Public Affairs (TPA) in Excel spreadsheets to the Texas Water Development Board. DSHS address information for each camp was prioritized over TPA where there was any overlap. See Source field for address source (DSHS, TPA, External). Geocoded using Nominatim. Obtained from DSHS on 10/02/2025 and TPA 9/23/2025.
