<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Pecos Valley Aquifer Saturated Thickness Grid</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Units: feet</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>This grid contains values of saturated thickness within the Pecos Valley Aquifer. This was constructed with Raster Calculator by subtracting the Pecos Valley Aquifer Static Water Level grid (pv_swl_00-09) from the Pecos Valley Aquifer Bottom Depth grid (pv_b_d). The resulting value in each grid cell represents the saturated thickness at that cell. No data cells within the limits of the Pecos Valley Aquifer extent are from either lack of groundwater as determined from the static water level grid or lack of Pecos Valley Aquifer, such as areas with outcropping Dockum Group sediments.</SPAN></P><P /><P><SPAN><SPAN>This dataset was prepared to meet a specific purpose as described in the following report, which is available on the TWDB website:</SPAN></SPAN></P><P><SPAN><SPAN>Meyer, J.E., Wise, M.R., and Kalaswad, S., 2011, Pecos Valley Aquifer, West Texas: Structure and Brackish Groundwater: Texas Water Development Board, report in preparation.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P><SPAN><SPAN>The data used to prepare this dataset is also available in the Brackish Resources Aquifer Characterization System (BRACS) MS Access Database, data dictionary, and raw data files (digital geophysical well logs and water well information).</SPAN></SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
